To manage and submit holiday requests using Staff Leave tap the “My Leave” button from the tab bar at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to the holiday request screen.
Checking your Remaining Allowance (if set)
To see a summary of what holiday allowance you have left, swipe up the tab at the bottom and tap on the number of days left as shown below. This summary will show you any holiday you’ve booked, as well as how many days you have left. You can also cycle through different status's such as Pending, Booked and Rejected requests using the filter at the top of the screen.
Existing Holiday Requests
Any recent holiday requests you have made will be displayed in a list on the top part of the Holiday Request screen. On the right-hand side of each request, you'll see a tick if they’ve been accepted, a cross if they’ve been rejected or a dot if they’re still awaiting a response.
When you tap on a request, the calendar will pop up showing you the range of dates booked.
Creating a new Leave Request
To make a new holiday or leave request, simply tap on the number of required days on the calendar, and tap days again to remove them.
Once you’ve selected some days for your request, select the type, add a description if you like and then tap the request button to submit your request.
Tip: To get around this, you can ask your administrator enable the "Allow Overbookings" feature.
Requesting other Leave, such as Sick Leave
Non-deductible leave types such as Sick Leave can be requested in the same way as Annual Leave, simply by changing the Leave type dropdown from "Annual Leave" to "Sick Leave".
Cancelling a Leave Request
To cancel or delete a request, go to your booking screen, locate the request you want to delete, or use the filter to scroll to the Past tab. Next, simply swipe left and tap (Delete) on the leave entry you wish to cancel.
If a request hasn't yet been approved, it will be deleted instantly. If you're cancelling an approved request, you'll need to wait for an administrator or manager/approver to agree to the cancellation.
