For Sage Pay payments, to take payment:-
-
First, complete the steps above mentioned in “To view and administrate a Sale”.
-
Navigate to the Payment tab
-
Scroll to the Payment History section
-
You will see a list of payments made against this order here. If you only see a payment type called “Authenticate” this means that the payment HAS NOT bee taken, and you will need to authorise the payment by clicking on the Authorise link under the Action column.

Once you have clicked on the Authorise link, a popup box will appear with the amount. Please note that you can only charge at this point no less than 90% of the Amount or no greater than 115% of the amount. If you wish to charge a greater amount, simply authorise the payment for the amount that appears in the popup box, and then you can take another payment straight after. We will discuss this step next.
